3Bar Biologics Adds David Nothmann To Board And Chris Koenig As Chief Business Development Officer
(Columbus, Ohio) – 3Bar Biologics appoints David Nothmann to its board of directors and names Chris Koenig to Chief Business Development Officer to kick-off the year with business growth and development.
Nothmann is the Chief Revenue Officer at Terramera and a visionary strategist with more than 20 years of executive-level B2B and B2C experience in agriculture and food production. Koenig is an expert business development leader with over a decade of experience in go-to-market consulting and corporate innovation.
“David has had a strong interest and focus on sustainability throughout his career which aligns perfectly with the goal of 3Bar Biologics to make a positive impact on both productivity and sustainability of production agriculture,” said 3Bar Biologics founder and CEO Bruce Caldwell. “As a board member, he will provide expertise and guidance for 3Bar’s business development activities including insight into marketplace dynamics and go-to-market approaches, including partnership and licensing options.”
Nothmann believes that as regenerative agricultural practices become more mainstream, 3Bar Biologics’ unique Live MicrobeTM delivery technology and proprietary Bio-Yield® product, have an opportunity to provide growers sustainable solutions that have not been previously possible.
“3Bar is at a point where its technology has been proven in the field and is looking for relationships with well-established companies to apply its revolutionary delivery approach,” said David Nothmann. “I have known members of the 3Bar leadership team for many years and respect them for their science and innovation.”
Prior to 3Bar, Koenig led white-space growth initiatives and strategic partnerships for retailer EXPRESS and served in a business development role driving go-to-market partnerships at The Ohio State University Technology Commercialization Office.
